Context
On April 14, 2022, Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, offered to purchase social media company Twitter for $43 billion, after previously acquiring 9.1% of the company's stock for $2.64 billion, becoming its largest shareholder. The acquisition is not yet complete, on May 13 Musk said in a tweet that the deal is "temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users."
Resolution Criteria
This question resolves positively if at least 2 major news sources report that Elon Musk has officially acquired Twitter by June 16.
The acquisition will become official if Twitter stockholders have approved the purchase and the applicable regulatory approvals are in place.
